How does IAD develop Information Assets?
The Information Asset creation process starts with the Information Goal- what does the Client wish to accomplish?

The Information Goal defines the information, process, communication and staff components that will constitute the Information Asset.

The Information component defines the complete set of Information needed to construct the Information Asset.  This component can be constructed by IAD or by the Client's Information Analyst.

The Process component defines the tools and procedure used by people within the Client company to provide relevant information within the Information Asset.  This component can be created by IAD or by the Client's Process Analyst.

The Communication component defines the entire audience and required structure to ensure full communication of the Information Asset.  This component can be implemented by IAD or by the Client's Systems Analyst.

The Staff component covers personnel both within the Client company and anyone external who need to participate providing information or inputs to make the Information Asset functional and self-sustaining.  This component can be developed by IAD or the Client's Business Analyst.
